Horizontal Stabilizer – Day 7 – 2 Hours

More work on drilling today. The inboard nose and aft ribs are not pre-drilled like the rest of the ribs. First I had to fit them into the assembly and use the skin as a guide to mark where the holes would go. Then use those marks as a reference for fluting (i.e., flutes have to be in between the holes). I fluted and prepared these ribs, then marked a center line on the top and bottom flanges and put them back in place, this time aligning the centerline mark with the holes on the skin. From here I drilled and clecoed in place the aft flange of the aft rib. And this is where I called it a day.
