Well today was the big day to finish up the rudder trailing edge. The sealant was finally dry. I started by cleaning out any sealant from the dimples and using a razor blade to slice off any that had seeped out of the trailing edge. Then I used a back rivet set to partially set each rivet. Flipped it over and used a mushroom set to drive the rivets the rest of the way. All in all it was pretty straight but, a little bulgy. I checked on this and I think I set some of the rivets a little too tight
This pic shows some of the bulging.
